Twitter

I read through some to the library twitter thingamabobs that was required for this blog. I was under the impression that one should use twitter to pass on late breaking information like what one had for dinner or that you had just brushed your hair. Using twitter to advertise programs isn't a great use of the service. If I was looking for a program to go to I would go to the website and look for programs.
I have heard that there are some extremly good tweets out there, but I know that I don't have the inclination to follow them.

LibraryThing

I don't think that LibraryThing is user friendly enough for me, however I am interested enough to work at it and make it work for me. I will use the site to make a list of books that I have read as well as those that I plan on reading. I'm not planning on having converstions online about what I'm reading, but I will take advantage of the reviews.
